New Farm Unit

We started a new unit on farms. We will be talking about farmers, barns, tractors, scarecrows, crops, and all of the fun animals that live on the farm. This will go right along with tukeys and Thanksgiving, too. It will also tie into our field trip to the zoo where we can see and pet farm animals.

We learned some new songs this week, Old McDonald, Animals on the Farm, and Barnyard. We also played "Duck, duck, goose", which the preschoolers LOVED!! We made these fluffy sheep with cotton balls. It was such a simple project, yet they were so excited about their sheep because they were so soft.
