First, the students had to stitch the yarn through the punched holes. This is no easy task for a preschooler. It takes a lot of fine motor skills to get the yarn in just the right pattern for the stocking to look just right.
Then, the children had to write their name on a very small paper to make the top of the stocking. This took many tries for some students whose names were longer.
And lastly, we had to add some glitter to make them really fun!
