It's Finally Fall

The storm came in and the weather changed just in time for us to talk about fall. We talked about how we dress different in the fall and what happens to the trees outside. Then, we made these cool trees. They are so simple, but so fun! The preschoolers had to glue the grass and trees down, then they were given strips of red, yellow, and orange paper. They had to cut the strips down to the shape of squares. It was good practice for them because if they cut it too big, it made a rectangle and if the angles weren't right, it made a triangle. They had to be careful and cut everything just right to make their leaves into squares. Then, of course, they glues some of their leaves on the tree and some of them on the ground.
