The Love Monster

We've worked so hard on ABCs, site words, and counting the passed month to get ready for kindergarten that we haven't had time for many crafts. So, this week, all of the preschoolers were thrilled to make these adorable love monsters!

We broke them up into two days to make them simpler. The first day, we made the faces and glued them to the body.

Then, we added the arms, legs, hands, feet, and hearts.

They were adorable!! The preschoolers were so happy to finally take them home to show off to their families. Happy Valentine's Day!

Who am I?

My name is Alishia Sechez. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught school for 3 years in Gilbert before starting my family. Once my son was born, I stayed home with him. Several years later, twin boys were added to our family, too. I have really enjoyed being home with my babies, but I miss teaching, too. A LOT! So, now that my babies have all grown up, I'm excited to teach preschool out of my home. My twins are four-years-old now and are in both classes. I'm so excited to be part of their first school experience and to share what I can with their friends in the neighborhood.
