ABC Egg Cartons

I read of an ABC recognition game, online, weeks ago. I collected egg cartons from the families in my classes, but was not sure how to attach letters inside of the egg carton that would last a long time so that the children could play the game over and over again as they learned each letter in the alphabet.

Finally, I figured it out and the cartons are ready!!
I used ABC beads and used white glue to glue them into the styrophoam egg cartons. They will be smooth along the top and very secure. We will place a marble in each carton of letters and then close up the cartons and shake the marble around inside. Then we'll open the cartons and see which letter the marble lands on.

We can simply talk about the letters, we can write them, we can chart or graph them, we can make words out of them, or anything else we want. I can't wait to use them with the children!
