Today, we had a fantastic field trip to the Zoo! It was the perfect place to enhance the things we have learned in the classroom. We went through the desert trail and saw, snakes, toads, prairie dogs, and owls. We also saw the peccaries, mountain lions, and wolves, too. We saw the habitats that they lived in first hand and were able to see the desert up close.
We also went to the Harmony Farm which is full of farm animals. We saw cows and horses and were able to pet and brush the goats. It was so fun to see the looks on the preschoolers faces as they interacted with the animals they have been learning about everyday in class.
Thank you for all of the parents that came to help and to the parents who were able to help us get into the zoo for free. Between all of the memberships and guest passes we had, we were able to get all of our children and all of their parents in for free!
