Valentine Guy

This was a super fun "fine motor" holiday project. We needed parent helpers to make these with everyone, but boy were they fun. The big heart in the middle was cut out by the preschoolers themselves. For whatever reason, big shapes like this are trickier for them to cut out. I think it is just hard to hold the paper and keep the scraps from getting in the way. But all in all, they turned out great! These kind of projects make preschool fun and in turn make learning fun. When the children saw their parents at pick up time, they ran out excited to show off their little Valeninte guy! I love days like that!!
