Learning to make hearts

We practiced tracing and learning to draw a new shape this week: a heart! Nobody thought they could make a heart. "I can't." is all we heard. But after we talked about how and traced a few hearts, their confidence was boosted.
So, when we had them try some on their own, they were amazed!! "Look! and "I did it!" is all we heard now. I love to hear the excitement in their voices when they learn something new. Look at these hearts...
