Although, a few glitches happened our very first day, we were still able to enjoy the meaning of these favorite books. We ended up having to "story tell" the books, but it all worked out just fine. The children, then, painted their hands and made a hand print on paper. Then, later, after the paint dried, they glued hearts onto their hands to symbolize their parent's love. It was a great start to a great first day.
