Turtle Day

Today we read a turtle book called Tiny Turtles, about several colored turtles who raced together. Then we learned a new turtle song:

I had a tiny turtle, his name was Tiny Tim.

I put him in the bathtub, to see if he could swim.

He drank up all the water, he ate up all the soap.

He tried to eat the bathtub, but it wouldn't go down his throat.

Now he's stuck in bed, with a bubble in his throat.

Bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble,

Bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, bubble, POP!!

Then, we cut out and sorted these turtles. We sorted them from biggest to littlest first, then from littlest to biggest before we glued them down.

It was a fantastic turtle day!!
