Party Time

Both Halloween parties were lots and lots of fun!! We started the day with Halloween centers where we made witches in several little pieces. The construction paper was cut out by parent helpers although some cutting was left for the preschoolers.
They added glitter to the hats, and drew the witche's faces on their own. We helped them add streamers to make the witches dress and they glued all the pieces together. The witches turned out great and were something all of the children were very proud of.

Then, the preschoolers went outside to play while parents arrived to set up the party. Cookies and juice set out for snack time. Pumpkin bowling was set up in the hallway. Tape the smile on the jack-o-lantern was taped to the wall. Jack-o-lantern stickers were set up in the kitchen and musical chairs were placed in the family room. Lastly, all of the supplies to make these fun spiders were set out, too.
As we brought the children back inside, they got super excited! They were in their costumes and were ready to party. We ate snacks, sang Halloween songs, and then rotated through the five party centers. Everyone had LOTS of fun, and we couldn't have done it without all of the help of all of the families in our class. Thanks for all you do, but especially for your help today.
