Spiders

To go along with our Halloween projects, we will also be learning about spiders. So, in our classroom, two spiders helped us by making a big web. At the bottom of the web, there are information cards for 4 spiders that we are learning about. We are focusing on the Black Widow, the Yellow Garden Spider, the Wolf Spider, and the Brown Recluse. Ask your preschooler about these spiders, or look them up online for them to see. They really have become spider experts. Ask them how many legs spiders have, or why they make webs. They should know and hopefully will amaze you.

We then, had to add some new spider friends to our web.
We also made these cute spiders to go home. They are made out of our hand prints. As we made these we talked about how many legs spiders had and did some addition. 4 + 4 = 8!!
