Getting Ready for Kindergarten with our ABCs

Since so many of us will be heading into Kindergarten, we've really worked hard on learning to recognize our ABCs. We work on them everyday we are at school and play lots of fun, ABC games. This popular Lear Frog game is one of our favorites.

We can figure out the letters we don't recognize in a fun, musical way. We've used this game in our small, "center" groups, but everyone loves to play it, so we've moved it out for everyone to play with. Of course, it is a popular place to be, during "free play" time.

Who am I?

My name is Alishia Sechez. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught school for 3 years in Gilbert before starting my family. Once my son was born, I stayed home with him. Several years later, twin boys were added to our family, too. I have really enjoyed being home with my babies, but I miss teaching, too. A LOT! So, now that my babies have all grown up, I'm excited to teach preschool out of my home. My twins are four-years-old now and are in both classes. I'm so excited to be part of their first school experience and to share what I can with their friends in the neighborhood.
