It is a simple and fun way to practice. You simply put an M&M on each square of the board. Then one child leaves the room while the others pick a word/letter to be "Pete". Then the child who left the room returns and begins eating M&Ms as they say the word/letter underneath. When they get to the one labeled "Pete" everyone yells. "Don't Eat Pete"! It startles everyone and makes everyone laugh. Then, of course, you switch students and do it all over again.
It is such a favorite that I've put it in one of the family activity bags so you can all play it at home. Your preschooler will love teaching you how to play.
