Valentine Party

The big day finally came!! It was party day! Everyone was excited to show their love to everyone they care about. They are excited to take home their folders home to show their parents. They turned out so nice with the foamy, jeweled heart on front, and the roses!

They were also excited to pass out their cards and candy to all of their friends. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE teach preschoolers because things like Valentine cards are new and fun, and the cards were truly given in love. Everyone had a heart with their name and picture on it. This made it simple for everyone to pass out their cards independently.

Then, we had a traditional party, that everybody loves! We decorated cookies, made Valentine cards, and made these fun tissue paper hearts.

But, as in the past, the biggest hit of the party was the musical chairs!! We counted again this time as we went around. We counted the hearts to win Valentine prizes!!

So many of you spoiled your teachers!! Thank you for all of the cards, chocolates, and gifts! We work with the best families in the neighborhood! Happy Valentine's Day everybody!!

Who am I?

My name is Alishia Sechez. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught school for 3 years in Gilbert before starting my family. Once my son was born, I stayed home with him. Several years later, twin boys were added to our family, too. I have really enjoyed being home with my babies, but I miss teaching, too. A LOT! So, now that my babies have all grown up, I'm excited to teach preschool out of my home. My twins are four-years-old now and are in both classes. I'm so excited to be part of their first school experience and to share what I can with their friends in the neighborhood.
