Happy Birthday Dr. Seuss

Dr. Seuss is one of our favorite authors!! Not just mine, you children love him, too! Since Friday was his birthday, we spent some time reading his books and watching a few short movies.

Some of his books are just silly rhyming books, but some really have a great message! Two of my favorites are the Sneetches and Horton Hatches an Egg. They both have great lessons to be learned in the simple stories.

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss!! Thank you for all the fun stories you left behind for us to enjoy!

Who am I?

My name is Alishia Sechez. I graduated from Arizona State University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. I taught school for 3 years in Gilbert before starting my family. Once my son was born, I stayed home with him. Several years later, twin boys were added to our family, too. I have really enjoyed being home with my babies, but I miss teaching, too. A LOT! So, now that my babies have all grown up, I'm excited to teach preschool out of my home. My twins are four-years-old now and are in both classes. I'm so excited to be part of their first school experience and to share what I can with their friends in the neighborhood.
