We had a chance to get on the computer this week.
We went to this website:
to play an ocean game. We also watched a movie from this website, too, that reinforces the same things the preschoolers learned about playing the game. It is a great site with many other fun games and activities to do. The site has many different topics, not just oceans, and would be fun for your child to play at home.
It was amazing to see how motivating this activity was. It was done at the "writing names" center, where I could help and supervise every child individually. Everybody, of course, got a turn, but I did choose children that were working or who had already finished with their name practice. They really worked quickly and made sure it was done correctly, so they'd get a turn to go next. We'll definitely have to do this one more often.
