Valentine's Day

We spent all of last week making these folders for our parents. They are full of lots of valentines. They have hearts that we cut out, pictures that we colored, hearts that we painted, and lots of other fun things inside of them.

We tied them all together with a red ribbon and the preschoolers were excited to take them home.
We made these flowers as well. Everyone got to choose the color of their flower and paint it with glitter. They glued on a button and attached the stem. They turned out so pretty.
These are starch hearts. We painted a tissue paper heart with starch. It really becomes part of the paper and is really nice.
The Valentine folders were lots of work, but they were certainly worth it. To see the look on the student's faces as they put their folders in their backpack was priceless
