Our preschoolers don't realize how smart they are, so we often get, "I can't!" To help with that, we read The Little Engine that Could. So, our new motto is now, "I Think I Can, I Think I Can, I Think I can!" Now all we have to do is point to the bulletin board and the children know they should keep trying again and again until they figure it out.

We have a new class motto and a new bulletin board. 
Our preschoolers don't realize how smart they are, so we often get, "I can't!" To help with that, we read The Little Engine that Could. So, our new motto is now, "I Think I Can, I Think I Can, I Think I can!" Now all we have to do is point to the bulletin board and the children know they should keep trying again and again until they figure it out.
