Laurie Berkner's Songs

Laurie Berkner has played a very special part in our classroom lately. I have tried hard all year to get everyone to be involved during music time and to sing. I've tried many, many songs to find just the right ones that match the interests of my students. There have been a few students that just never have been motivated to enjoy singing. Well, we finally did it!!

The Magic Hat song has done wonders to our music time!! EVERYONE loves it! This song would not be so fun, if not for all of you. The hats you have brought in is what has made this soooooo fun! We have everything, fire hats, magic hats, princess hats, Mickey Mouse ears, a sombrero, winter hats, construction hats, birthday hats, baseball caps, we have them all. The preschoolers get so excited when I get the box of hats out. They have so much fun picking out which hat to wear! We always sing it twice to be certain everyone gets a chance with the hat they wanted. Listen to the song on youtube and watch your child's eyes light up.

We have also learned We are the Dinosaurs, and I found dinosaur hats to go along with it!
