She said, "Miss Alishia, Miss Alishia, look what I made." She then explained that she could make a lot of letters with the blocks. I love it when what we are doing in preschool spills over into play time. And that is exactly what happened here. Playing and creating the letters we practice with everyday is exactly what I want them to do!!

Learning through Play
I love it when I can find a simple example of learning through play. Today, a child brought me this letter "T".
She said, "Miss Alishia, Miss Alishia, look what I made." She then explained that she could make a lot of letters with the blocks. I love it when what we are doing in preschool spills over into play time. And that is exactly what happened here. Playing and creating the letters we practice with everyday is exactly what I want them to do!!
