Our Classroom Flower Garden

Since we have a new theme now, "Gardens", I thought it would only be fitting to turn our classroom into a garden. The students painted flowers on Monday, then added sparkly glitter to the center circles that they cut out. They even cut out the leaves.

Then, they got to pick where their flower would live. Miss Julie hung stems all over for them to choose from. They absolutely loved having this freedom and some of them thought long and hard about where they wanted their flower to be.
As we worked on our garden throughout the week, we talked about what our flowers would need to grow. We will continue to add to our garden as we learn, but it sure has had a great start.

The classroom looks great now!! Come in and see and find your child's flower!
