3, 2, 1...Blast Off

We've been talking about things we see in the sky, so today, we switched gears to talk about things we see in the sky at night. We've learned about planets and stars and the moon. To go along with the theme, we've been "blasting off" with a rocket and some numbers. We crouch down and slowly count to ten as we stand up, "1, 2, 3, 4..." Then when we get to ten and are standing on our tip toes, we go backwards, counting and crouching back down. "10, 9, 8..." When we are back to one and crouched down, we jump up and yell, "Blast off!!!"
